Thank you so much Krishnabal, only solution that worked for me 2. 😁
This didn't help me... it just keeps getting stuck on the "Accessing iTunes Store" loading bar... any more help.??
I couldn't go throught all the pages so dunno if anyone else already suggested this but this is how I solved this mf absolute error;
by completing the profile info ^^
I said error cuz it didn't say anthing about the reason.
Hope this helps anyone (dunno why, I guess human beings are good out of the box)
Thank you so much! This appears to have fixed whatever was the culprit. 🙂
I found this solution in another thread after struggling with this problem for months. Here's what worked for me:
1. Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt (Right click it & choose Run As Administrator)
(If the command prompt is not there, just use the search bar in the start menu and type incmd)
2. Once the prompt opens type in netsh winsock reset. Hit Enter.
3. Restart your computer
4. Open iTunes and yipeeee it works
Before this I tried uninstalling/reinstalling itunes, and i tried the de-authorize/authorize trick. Nothing worked for me accept this. Kudos to Xeta for the solution!

Its Feb 2013 and I still get this !
i love u yaar.
Thank you so much! This worked for me - I couldn't get to use Itunes 11 on Windows 7 for uploading my CDs or accessing the Itunes store - my PC slowed down to a snail's pace, wouldn't recognise any of my CDs and said that there was a problem with my wireless connection (there definitely wasn't). Did what you suggested and everything's now working properly - brilliant!
mate you are a legend! thanks a billion!
This did the trick, thanks!!
we have same bug, any patch?
vince
for anyone at this point who still hasn't solved their problem, when you run command prompt as an admin on your computer, then you enter:netsh winsock reset
DO NOT DO IT IN ONE COMMAND
all you need to do is enter:
ALL IN SEPARATE COMMANDS
hope this helped🙂
This is THE answer!!!!! I have been working on this forever wishing I had never downloaded the new version of I-tunes!!! My processor was blasting at 50% when not using itunes and 100% when I was...It is now functioning @ normal levels again. I am operating on a 6-year old laptop using an antiquated centrino-duo running VISTA of all things! Thank You! Thank You, Thank You!!!! EVERYONE USING WINDOWS FOLLOW THE JUSPERFEK POST
HIGHER UP THIS PAGE WITH THE JCGRANE CLARIFICATION ABOVE AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD. THANKS AGAIN ALL.
