Install Fuji DCP-R1 Smart Media Reader

I am unable to install the software for the Fuji DCP-R1 reader. I have down loaded the latest software from the manufacturers site and the Stuffit expander just cant seem to open it. It comes back with error 17537. Can anyone help. Mac support were unable to help. I am a beginner to mac.

First try just plugging your reader in without software. The odds are you don't need any. Incidentally, if you are new to macs--you probably won't see it on your desktop unless you put a card into it.

I have three card readers plugged in to a usb hub, compact flash, xd and smart media, no drivers for any of them. When I insert a card the reader comes up on the desktop, and I download using image capture.
