Apple TV2 - Error Occurred Loading This Content

Hello,

I have 2 Macbook Pros, 2 iPads, and a Windows 7 Desktop. I recently purchased Apple TV 2. It was working fine for the first month or two. I was able to use AirPlay from any device. They are all connected with a Time Capsule Router. Recently we upgraded to the new i5 and i7 Macbook Pros. Right around that time, I started getting the error message "Error occurred loading this content, please try again later" when trying to do AirPlay from either Macbook Pro. They will both stream music, just not videos. I have tried videos that I have ripped and ones straight from iTunes. I have rebuilt my iTunes library, reset the router, disabled the firewall, reset Apple TV, etc. Nothing will work. It will still stream video fine from my iPad. Any ideas?

I tried this and it works for now... I'll try again after shutting everything down, restarting and all that. I seemed to be fine last night after rebooting everything and restoring the ATV2, so I want to give things time to get worse as they have been. Thanks for the tip on the IPv6 = Off.

This didn't work for me. Still no luck. Apple is supposed to call me back next week about the issue. I will update you guys as soon as I know something.

Thanks for the tip r3v. That seems to have got mine streaming again. I spent an hour on the phone to mac support - nightmare, they didn't have a clue. I had to restore the ATV 2 to get it to work. Apple really need to pull there finger out with this

I found if I unplug and replug my ATV2 make it works again. Kinda a joke. Apple we need help here!

I have a feeling this is due to the update. I got my new MacBook Pro the day it came out, and out of the box it worked find with my ATV2. Everything was good up until the day I decided to update it. I have tried everything I can find, but nothing is working. Even when I have the capability of browsing through music or movies in my iTunes library via the ATV2 it tells me that there is no content in my iTunes library. This is extremely frustrating so hopefully we can figure something out, or maybe there will be another update soon.

Download 10.6.7. The update came out yesterday. This fixes the problem!

No, the update doesn't help. My MacBook Air (latest version) is running the 10.6.7 update and my Apple TV 2 is running the latest iOS update that they JUST pushed out. Issue is still not fixed. I can not select any music or video from my iTunes library through the Apple TV menu and have it stream. It hangs every time and then shows the "Error Occurred..." message. Frustrating.

Same problem as the rest of you. Some dvd's ripped with HB to Apple TV2 setting don't work. Whats even stranger is i can play them on my iphone and Ipad with home share. Very annoying

Also keep apple tv software updated. Mine did the same thing. Updated the software and all is good.

I've just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6 and my Apple TV (2nd gen) to the latest version and now my airplay doesn't work reliably at all. I can AirPlay audio from my iPad and iPhone without any problems. But I can't get Vimeo to AirPlay for the life of me. I keep getting an error message on my TV saying "An error occured loading this content. Try again later." Prior to updating to iOS 6 and the Apple TV AirPlay for video work flawlessly. I've tried restarting my all my iDevices and router but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to get video workin on the Apple TV again?

The main reason I moved to Apple products was because their products "just worked". Now though, that does not seem to be the case.
