Macbook Pro 2011 FaceTime HD camera specifications

I figure since Apple says it's 720p HD that means the resolution is 1280×720?

Can anyone confirm this and/or expand upon this info?

For example, it's USB 2.0, but what is the "raw" format it can produce or whatever you call it?

2011 17" MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
