Scissors Tool

Hi, I'm new into Final Cut Express and there is something that I cannot manage to find. I try to divide a long clip into two or more pieces in the timeline, using a scissors tool, just like in logic.
However, I cannot find a scissors tool. How can I do that. I guess is very simple, but I cannot find it.
Thanks in advance for you help

Hi

Exactly as Tom writes - Siccor is Racor-blade in FinalCut.

BUT

You would gain lot's to get into using in- resp. out-points as FinalCut doesn't work
like iMovie. So if You want to apply transitions - FinalCut needs "handles" = unused material
before and after clip to be viewed . Not as in iMovie where transition borrow material
from the clip in TimeLine.

So by cuting up material - all's well as long as You don't apply transitions - but
gets rather wered when done to precision sized clips.

I am having a problem with this feature too. If I want to split a clip or remove an unwanted section in the middle of a clip I can do it with the blade tool but both sections still retain the same clip name and I cannot work out how to edit each section independently. I would like to set in and out points in each section of the clip and cannot figure how to do that.
