Scratch disk

so I was messing around and forgot to change my scratch disks back to my external HD before starting a project. Now I do not have the space I need on my computer and need to switch all the work over. Is there a way to do this. Relocate all the info from the project like with iTunes when you move a library?

Hi

This is the only down side I have with FinalCut Express.

One need to be very disiplined to set up a project right from start.

AND - Cheque Scratch disks everytime one starts it again - more so if hard disks are moved
from one Mac to another.

A function that keept all material together in one folder (as iMovie movie project icons - with
a Star on) would mke life so much easier.

If FinalCut Pro - there is Help - a Project/Media Manager that can collect material
into a new folder. But that's the Pro version - and it costs.

I had to learn to keep an eye at this - everytime I start my FCE.

There is a Major difference between iMovie up to HD6 and iMovie'08 or 09 or 11

The iMovie Event resp iMovie Projects folders - in later versions of iMovie - I NEVER Touch !

iMovie previous version - was a DELIGHT when making the iMovie movie project folder (with a Star on it)

This could easily be move to where one wanted it - even sent to co-operator to finish
project on his/hers Mac.

As long as it was stored on a - Mac OS Extended formatted medium.

This is a great way to keep everything collected and easy to locate where space and
convinience is best.
