iOS 4.3 has cut my 3G Internet connection

"Safari cannot open this page because you are not connected to the Internet."

When I am around my WIFI, I am.

Took me half an hour until it was back. Weird...

Mac OS X (10.6.6), Please don't tell me anything as useful as "re-format your hard drive" o.a.l.t.

SAME PROBLEM HERE IN GERMANY WITH VODAFONE-MOBILCOM-SIM!
Hard to get a working 3g-connection AFTER updating to 4.3 and then freezings/rebootings.
If sim-action is switched off, the ipad works fine....
So APPLE do something!
Could be very interesting for iPad 2 3g, which comes also with the stupid 4.3-firmware!
Things like these should not happened!

After the update to 4.3 experienced the same issues as read by you all world wide. In my case it is Vodafone provider which informed me that many users of IPAD as well as IPHONE in The Netherlands experience this issue. No access possible and many more issues possible. Reset did not work either. The only thing to do is to take out the SIM card and it is working with WiFi.
Vodafone Netherlands informed that Apple has confirmed that there is a software bug on the new released OS4.3 and that they are working on this matter. When a new release will take place is so far not known.
Vodafone The Netherlands and many of its operators have tried out many ways to overcome this matter but could not find a solution. It is thus awaiting at Apple its update. I think and reading on the forum that not only Vodafone has this issue, but many more it is basicaaly confirmed that it is a bug in the software new release of Apple. Please contact apple for this as much as possible for swift solutions, thanks Jan

I'm in France and experience the same problem, I lost me 3G connexion after updating my Ipad to iOS 4.3; My son managed (after several attempts) to update his iphone 4 and has no problem with his 3G connexion though we have the same carrier.Perhaps it's only for ipad...
Did someone find a solution? If i don't have 3G I have no access to Internet.
If the problem is on Apple's side, we urgently need an update to fix this bug User uploaded file

Hi, I got the same problem here in Mexico, I permanently fixed this problem (sorry for my bad English I just want to help)

1.- turn on your wifi and mobile data (both requires Internet connection)
2.- open safari
3.- load any web page (Facebook, google, etc)
4.- go back to setting and turn of your wifi
5.- as you can see now the iPad detects the 3G connection on safari or mail

Note: every time you turn off your mobile data, you have to do the steps above.
Obviously this is an iOS 4.3 bug, and this issue should be fixed ASAP

Same happens in Vodafone PT. First login recognizes network, but while acessing email or Safari, it returns no 3G available (signal almost in full).

Disabling 3G and enabling it back, often solves the problem, although it often does not ask network PIN while logging in!

Before upgrade never faced this kid of issue!

I have the same problem, provider bob.at in Austria. I think the problem has nothing to do with any provider it's definitely an iOS 4.3 bug associated with first generation iPads. When wlan is switched off when you deactivate the airplane modus you get problems with 3G. When wlan is switched on when you deactivate the airplane modus 3G works, even if you switch off WLAN immediately afterwards.
Basically I have the feeling that 3G is less reliable with iOS 4.3 even when you got it up.
