iOS 4.3 drains my battery and does not auto lock

After installing iOS 4.3 on my iPhone 4, my phone has dropped 20% battery usage in 20 minutes, doing nothing. It also does not auto lock anymore, it is set to 1 minute. I tried to reset the phone and no change. The phone is warm, indicating some process is running constantly. I have made no change before the upgrade. Before the upgrade everything was working fine, after the iOS 4.3 upgrade the battery is draining REALLY fast and it does not auto lock.

Any ideas?

Did another experiment where i turned off push for all mail, calendar, contacts and set it to manual. So far my usage is getting me about 8 hours total time on a full charge (that is up from 6.5 hours). So a little bit better. But I was getting about an hour for every 10% battery, roughly 10 hours total time on full charge.

Here are two threads with same issues:

I note in the one thread a method to reset your Microsoft Exchange account. Apparently for some people the Activesync function is continually trying to
connect via Exchange causing battery drain. I'm going to try what this guy
says to do:

I tried the reset of the Microsoft Exchange activesync, as described in this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2777319

But it didn't seem to work for me. I suggest reviewing that thread because numerous solutions have been offered. Someone said to log out of the app store on your phone, but that didn't work for me either.

Currently, turn all my push notifications to manual setting has gained me a little bit of battery life. But currently only getting about 7 hours on a full charge.

Same thing happens here. Had 50% at 8:30 and now it is 10:05 and I have 15%. Not done anything except look for this SMS twice and take 1 phone call. Apple needs to fix this problem. It is not bc of user data. It is bc apple made yet another bad decision and didn't realize how bad this iOS is. My phone constantly stays warm as if something is running and no apps are open and no safari pages are open. Also noticed that there seems to be a little more lag when typing or trying to run certain processes. I'm not restoring my phone bc of apples screw up. They need to fix this immediately. It's ridiculous. It's as if they're trying to copy off of windows with all these lately ****** products.

In settings you can turn the app store off in the restrictions area, but you cannot "log out" of the store. Unless I'm looking at this wrong. I logged out of the store by going into the App store and scroll all the way to bottom to see your login ID. Push that button and you get a pop-up where you can select to logout.

Otherwise, you can go into restrictions and turn OFF "install apps" and "delete apps" which removes the icon from your iPhone and will not let you make changes even during a sync within iTunes.

If you log out using the first method I mentioned, every time you sync with iTunes, you will get logged back in. Two ways to achieve the same time, but each way has their own annoying qualities! The biggest of which is that this did not help my iPhone with the battery drain problem.

When Apple releases an update you shouldn't really upgrade it unless it's very very nessescary. When i got my iPod Touch 4G it came with 4.1 and the battery would last very very long. Once i yupgraded it to 4.2.1 it started dying even more and i can't even have my screen turned up at all. Now i upgraded to 4.3.3 and it's dying really really fast. I just saw it jump from 96% to 86% and i haven't done anything but write on this fourm and listen to music, and the screen is turned down all the way and i have no notifications on and location. All the updates do is just ruin the product. D: 
