Weird issue since installing iOS 4.3

Since I've installed iOS 4.3 my iPod Touch 4 (only about 8 months old & perfect condition) has been acting strange. It's hard to describe this issue but I've noticed little glitches here and there with some of the artwork/graphics of the OS.

For example when my iPod is locked, on the locked screen at the top (menu bar) the lock icon becomes snowy/glitchy. I've had this happen when notifications pop up there is a background outline of a square that is also snowy.

The graphics for some reason have a snowy and animated outline. This iPod is not hacked or dropped or anything I don't understand why this is happening. I've turned it off and turned it back on and still having the issue.

It is NOT a major issue, it is odd though and having issues with the display on this type of device still can't be a good sign right? I've never seen this anywhere before so I thought I'd ask on here. It does go away after a few seconds.

Here are some photos I made in Photoshop to simulate what I mean. Notice the static "noise" around the icons. Sometimes they actually flicker in an animated motion and are even bigger at times. This has only happened with pop up notifications and the lock icon as simulated. This has only happened when the device is sleep and I press the home button to find it spazzing out. It's always random, which is why I have no actual photos. When it did happen (about 4 times this evening so far) it was idle for about an hour or so until I bothered with it. If I messed with it after being idle after maybe 5-30 minutes it's normal. Other than that this issue never happens and I've a heavy user of the iPod. Here are the photos:

Thanks for your input - it appears that you are closely related to Apple or else very knowledgable about the software.

It seems Apple does not properly or thoroughly test software prior to its release. This is especially apparent for all the ios 4.xx.x releases with video flicker, quick battery discharge, slow synching if at all possible, wi-fi constantly on even when the ipod touch is OFF or SLEEPING, and the quick battery distruction with many unnecessary deep discharges and recharges (advertized limit is 400 cycles before replacement, which further lines Apple's pockets). Your list of: bug fixes including:

• Fixes an occasional graphics glitch on iPod touch (4th generation)
• Resolves bugs related to activating and connecting to some cellular networks
• Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV Adapter with some TVs
• Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services
seems commendable, but why did they have bugs to begin with?

Perhaps fewer software releases (seven for ios 4.xx.x since July 2010) with all bugs removed would/should make happier customers and make the ipod work without having to turn features OFF. The latest glitch is the ping function that is described here: http://www.ipodrepublic.com/apple-ios/ping-affecting-ios-4-3-battery-life-turn-o ff/2011/03/21/

More important would be an official response from Apple engineers/software writers that they are knowledgable of the 'bugs' and are working a solution, but the only official Apple intervention is from the "HOSTS" who either delete or edit a constructive criticism of Apple, and NEVER offer a solutionthat works.

Another salient point is the inability to revert legally to ios 3.1.3, which had NO problems. Come on Apple, open the portal.

Your closing comment: PLEASE KEEP POSTING ANY & ALL bugs/errors/connection errors/battery issues etc... that you may have
...until we release iOS this autumn!
is vefry encouraging...just fix the software correctly before another bogus release.

And thank you for contribution...first Apple person that seems to know something besides the inept 'genius' at the apploe store in the midwest.

I believe you are mistaken if you think that person works for Apple.

Look at their profile.

Jason is an Apple employee.

Have you taken your iPod Touch in to have it checked out?

I got my new iPod about a month ago and it makes weird white lines flash every time I get a message displayed on my locked screen. Also, the loading symbol in the top bar is covered in a flashing white box once in a while, but all of this goes away after I either turn the screen on and off or take a screen-shot. I am hoping it is nothing more than a software glitch, but if this problem continues after a new update, I think I'm leaving ISO4 and going with a linux based OS.

-Please include a fix for this issue in the next software update.
