App store wont' verify payment info

I can't buy anything from the App Store. I can login OK, but when I try to buy anything, it says 'You must enter your Apple ID and password, click Billing Info, and verify your payment information in order to make purchases" but when I enter my ID and password again and click on 'Billing info' nothing happens. I've tried clearing the cache. I don't understand it as I have previously bought stuff no problem. Any ideas?

The same problem... I'm sure that I'm entering correct info. I've tried my second card and the same result - Your payment method was declined. Please enter valid payment method information. What to do now ???

Your payment was declined has a different meaning than Verifying your payment method details, perhaps you should call your credit card provider on this one.

It's declined by Apple... I have no problem with my credit card, only the appstore has problem with it :-[ The first step was Verifying my payment method. When I placed cvv the appstore f*cked me with "Your payment METHOD was declined"... [P.S.: sorry for my english]

Im also having problems on my Apple TV i wanted to rent a movie and it told me i needed to go to the itunes store and verify my payment information i logged in at apple.com and updated my information and it still tells me the same thing.. any ideas anyone?
