Final Vinyl makes huge files?
Hi all,
I just fired up Final Vinyl with the iMic and got great results putting some old LPs into iTunes. Upon closer inspection, though, I see that each track is between 20 and 35 MB -- about 10 times bigger than all my other stuff. I've kept Final Vinyl's default "save" settings at AIFC -- 16 bit 44.1kHz.
Would saving as a WAV file make smaller (and still acceptable quality) files? Well, I suppose I could just try that, eh?
If that's not the answer, are there any other suggestions? Half a GB for an old Doors album just seems a bit much.
Thanks!
