iBooks icon missing

Have you uses the SpotLight search to look for it? It may be a some back screen or even off all the scree if you have the eleven screens filled up.

It happened to me too, I shut ipad2 off/on and it appeared on hidden screen as any new icons.

This is happening to me too, I can't even find it in spotlight. The only way I can open iBooks is by opening a PDF attachment via email, then going back to the main menu to find my books. Have you guys found a solution yet?

Some people have found that it's appeared after doing a reset : pressing and holding the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears (this is the iPad equivalent of a reboot).

I am having exactly the same problem. The ibooks icon does appear in my setting list but I cannot find the icon anywhere on my display. Thanks.
