iPad 2 Shipping

Same here. It should be able to get to Memphis and then back out to our respective cities AND delivered in the next 22 hours, right?

At this point, I'm still prepared for shipping, which means I wont be getting it until Monday at the earliest. Have any white wifi 16gb models even shipped yet? Srsly...

I received the iPad today from apple via Fedex, but I can't experience it until next Tuesday, it is a birthday present for my husband.

Now that is torture.

Definitely man. I am monitoring the status of mine and it is already "out for deliver" out of Anchorage. Just needs to hop on a short 4 hour plane trip to Oakland and then a very short drive to my doorstep 🙂

haha touche. im just trying to map out in my head which hub it will go through or whatever. i live a good bit away from any major airport so im factoring in drive time...planning on what time to be home so i can avoid the awkward package dance when you get a notice on your door.

Here is the deal....like me, I bet you ordered using ONE Click So like you I had a pre 1 am time stamp on my order but then I read the fine print. The order was not actually submitted for 90 minutes thereafter, so all the people that did the purchase the long way, entering all the info manually got preference. I have spoken to Apple customer care several times and only today did they admit that they were wrong in suggesting that people use ONE Click...yep we got screwed while people are selling their iPad 2's on ebay at outrageous prices. I say for iPad 3 go back to preordering...Things are not the same without Steve Jobs with his fingers deep in the pie.

Well, european, you know the main FedEx hub is Memphis, so I guess it will go on the best flight to you from there? You should know in HOURS (look at me, all optimistic now lol).

sahilio, our iPads will NOT bleed, that's all there is to it!

and Chuck, I ordered with one click and it was shipped on the 15th, arriving tomorrow, so I don't think your theory is accurate.

this is true. i guess im just curious to know which airport from there or more so the drive time from wherever.
my optimism has caught on! second wind! those links were very helpful to, to whomever posted them. gives a lot of relief.

(and if they bleed, im convinced its glue and itll go away..totally fine. though knowing how long mine sat 'prepared for shipping' if the glue isnt dry yet......my god lol)

YES! Those links were great (since we need to know where our 'babies" are, every step of the way and are convinced we know when and how they SHOULD have shipped- only speaking for myself of course lol).

And speaking of knowing best, geez, my iPad cleared customs an HOUR ago--why hasn't left yet??? (tongue firmly in cheek there)
