Tried reading and searching through all 262 pages of answers but after the first hundred or so thought I'd just ask for myself instead...
Does anyone know whether you can track a shipment from Asia before it actually enters the UK ? I've got an iPad 2 (32GB in Black with 3G) enroute to me supposedly by syncreon technology so it can be "merged in the UK" with the smart cover I ordered at the same time.
Delivery currently expected on Wednesday 1st June but I'm impatient and hopefully meerely seeing it's progress will apease me!
Ordered a 32 GB black wifi on May 3. Originally scheduled to ship May 24, but on May 26 was informed that shiping delayed until June 9. This seems much slower than most folks. Not sure why, but maybe because I ordered through the education store? Don't even think there is a discount for Ipads in the education store.
My iPad has been sitting at "Prepared for Shipment" for 48hrs now...still showing a shipping date 4 days away (incl. weekend)

I ordered mine on May 15th & I just got a email that it shipped UPS onFri May 27th.I hope I receive it sometime early next week!!
I ordered mine on 18 May and it originally said delivery would be June 8 then June 9 then May 31 and then June3. I almost canceled it and bought a Zoom. But it's suppose to be delivered according to UPS May 31, Apple says June 3. What a crock a Shi#. They should have enough in the stores. I hate waiting for anything I finely make up my mind to get. Oh well we'll see what happens.
I ordered ipad2 on May 27th. The site said 1 to 2 weeks shipping, but when I got the confirmation it gave
a shipping date of June 13th! Thats like 21/2 weeks. How accurate are they with the shipping estimates?
It seems like such a long time to wait. I guess i've gotten spolied with ordering things online and
having them in a few days.
I live in Elmont, NY by the way..when do you think I should get my iPad?!?

Congrats! I ordered my Ipad 2 on May 21st and estimated shipping date is June 7th. My ipad finally went into prepared for shipment today. Do you think that it will ship earlier since it changed to prepared for shipment?
geodude, from what i heard orders will now be shipped after roughly 11-12 days. so yes, yours should be shipped around the 2nd of june. please keep us informed about your status - since i ordered mine on the 24th of may and have an estimated shipping date for the 10th and delivery for the 17th of june.
btw. delivery takes (depending on where you live) from 3 to 5 days.

I ordered on May 20 (a Friday) after the close of business. My original ship date was June 6, with delivery on June 10. I received notice last night that my iPad had shipped on June 1 (it was May 31 for me on the East Coast USA, June 1 in Asia). My revised delivery date is June 7.
expect it on monday.

Picked up by UPS that night and delivered to me at lunchtime today (1st June)
Have to say though I'm appalled at the lack of tracking information through Apple and Syncreon prior to it arriving in the UK - although on the plus side UPS were incredibly quick and efficient once they got hold of it, getting it to me 10 hours after they received it!
Now to work out how to set it up and sync all my apps!
