Mine shipped on the 8th of June, but shipping was downgraded, now it seems to have missed the plane in Louisville!! Now I don't know when i'm getting it.

I ordered my iPad 2 32gb wifi black on June 9th, with a estimated shipping date of June 22nd and estimated delivery date of June 28th. From what i have read, it seems like most people are getting their ipad 2's anywhere from 12 days to a single day earlier than the estimated delivery date. How common is this? I hope mine gets shipped this week, as i would love to have it sooner, i hate waiting. I have also noticed some of you have called apple support and asked for one day shipping and they give it free... How can i do this? i would even be willing to pay for shipping to get it earlier...

You and I are in the same boat: I ordered my 32gb Wi-fi only iPad in White on June 8th and received the same shipping info. 10-12 days for us seems much longer because those receiving their iPads now were in our shoes weeks ago...
I would also be interested in hearing about this one-day shipping option, though! geesh! lol. 1 week down... :|

My order from 3rd changed to prepared for shipment and subsequently shipped on 13th. I have also observed other orders going through same in the same time period. So you can expect to see the change in the same time frame if the frequency holds
update, my two ipad 2s have left memphis yesturday morning and arrived at nj around early evening, and made it to nj late last nite and are now both in jamaica queens as of 2am today, so i'm def getting them tomorrow. yay
After five calls to UPS, two calls to Apple and almost three weeks of waiting, I got it yesterday around 10:20am ish. Now I am shopping for a case. Any suggestion? I am looking at Switcheasy Canvas.

Dosel, sorry you had to wait so long! I ended up getting the bookbook from twelve south. It's a case/stand that looks like an antiqued leather book. Looks like the switch easy case comes with everything including a screen cover so if that's what you are after go for it! It looks nice.

It is a Att 64Gb ordered on 6-2-11 and said that it shipped on 6-13-11.
Has anyone seen their ipad sit for more then two days in China without moving?
Does this mean that the estimated Delivery Date of Thursday the 16 by 10:30 am isnt going to happen?
I just spoke with apple over the phone and a very nice lady (Rose) let me upgrade my shipping on the ipad 2 order, for 11 dollars for 2 day shipping, as long as it ships on the 21st, ill have it next friday! I hope it ships quicker though. Apple rules!
Yes it will float around in china possibly for a few days !! after that it all depends on flight times and connections ! mine missed a couple flights and sat for 24-36 hrs in one place !! but it finally last night got into my area and is out for delivery !!!

so my delivery date hasnt changed it says delivery june 16th, tomorrow, but i get home and i see a fedex slip on my door...they tried delivering it today...and of course i wasnt home because stupid me thought they would be here tomorrow >.>
