Crack in polycarbonate case.
The case is cracking on the opposite side of the sleep indicator light, stemming from where the bottom pannel meets the plastic, going up and to the right in an arc, about 2cm long. I take extremely good care of my computer (never have I dropped it, never has it traveled out of the case, or in a backpack) so there is no reason it would be cracked as it is. I attempted to chat with a genius, on this Apple support site, but I found out that I would have to pay money to do that (the most obnoxious thing I've heard this month). I feel as if a $999 dollar BASELINE notebook, shouldn't have this issue, had I known it was going to be so poorly made, I would have gotten the MacBook Pro. However, I digress. What I want to know is if I take this into an apple store, will they fix it for me, or will they charge me far too much to fix something that shouldn't have happened. Also I want to know if this is an isolated case, or if anybody else has had this issue.
Also, I have an issue ever since I opened my 'book to change the RAM. The screws will not stay on tight, they continue to loosen on their own and I nearly lost one of them because of this, luckily I searched my floor for 3 hours and found the little bugger.
It must be noted that I am in love with everything other than these issues, and the lack of support to those who don't spend $200+ dollars for support that should be available to us for free, since we pay for the product so it will not have these flaws.
