white iPad users: is the white frame distracting?

I love the look of the white iPad but I'm just wondering, when you are watching video, particularly in a dim environment, is the white frame around the screen distracting? I'm thinking maybe it makes more sense to have a black screen just for visual comfort....?

iMac / Macbook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

With the black, the frame disappears from mind when you’re using the iPad. With the white, it always seemed like I was looking at a white frame around the screen. I got the white 64gb 3G model and I love it, had a look at both side by side before preferring white. I now have it in a brown tecknet iPad 2 case which is much like a smart cover only cheaper and it covers both sides, it only cost 7.99 uk pounds, so now I cannot see the white bezel so much which kinda defeats the point a bit.

Is the white distracting, NO and anyway black is so "last year".

I have the white iPad and don't find it distracting at all, probably because I have a white macbook too...

I got a white one because I had the black iPad 1, and I wanted to change it up. I like the white, not more and not less than the black. It's only distracting if you focus on it, and soon it fades away and so far not a problem.

I've had an original iPad since day 1 but the only iPad 2 I could buy had a white frame. Didn't have any distraction problems at all and actually sort of like the white frame.

The White was not too distracting at first, but it seemed to show "wear" more than the black. I noticed the dust, particles, prints more on the white then ever before on my first Gen iPad. So, now my wife has a new iPad2 while I wait for my Black iPad2 to be delivered.
