App Store crashing immediately on launch

I ran the 10.6.7 combo update this evening and after the update, I can no longer open the App Store. It immediately crashes on launch. Any suggestions on a fix?

MBP 2.4 GHz/4GB, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Just to +1, Mac App Store crashes for me immediately after launch when Cisco VPN is up.

I have found the same - it will crash if the Cisco VPN is running, but works OK otherwise....

I've had the same problem and, like others in this thread, turning off the Cisco VPN fixed it.

I am not on CicsoVPN, but do have an RSA Secure connection to the network via wireless. I noted that the crash log shows that AppStore is crashing CommerceKit check for WiFi connection. Basically the AppStore is unusable.

Ditto. Definitely related to running the VPN.. over wifi. if I shutdown the vpn then its ok.
(doesn't apple folks use VPNs?)

How do we file a bug?

Thanks, disabling certificate checking fixed this issue for me. Since the Comodo security breach, information on enabling cert checking has been circulating on the Internet, so I imagine others will also find this useful.

I have the same problem but with FortiClient SSL VPN (4.0.2082). If I kill the VPN client, I can start App Store without crashing. If I then start the VPN while App Store is running, the App Store immediately crashes.

Same problem here. With Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client running, I get the "storeagent quit unexpectedly" dialog window every 30 seconds or so and there's no way to kill it other than quitting the Cisco VPN client.

Just chiming in that I'm getting the same crash. I too am using Cisco VPN (I have no choice - I must for my job). It's casuing the App Store to crash immediately on launch.
