Battery level indicator frozen at 100% since10.6.7 update

Before I upgraded to 10.6.7 my Magic Mouse battery indicator showed around 60%. Since the upgrade it seems fixed at 100%. I turned off the mouse for a while and even took out the batteries and then replaced them. After turning the mouse back on It reconnected and the battery indicator still shows 100%. I upgraded the OS yesterday and the Mac "slept" well last night. Any clues to how I can get the battery indicator to reflect the true state of the battery?
Thanks,
Larry

Looks like toggling the power on the mouse does in fact reset the battery life indicator in Lion. I also noticed this same issue with my home iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) - had charged the mouse all night and was still getting warning that battery was low until I removed and reinstalled the battery. After which the battery level indicated 100%.

This bug is back again in Mac OS X 10.7.4

Very distressing. The magic mouse battery indicator was at 100% even after using for a month, and suddenly yesterday I got a low battery warning for my magic mouse, then it suddenly died.

I do hope Apple fix this bug with the next release...

The quality of software and hardware from Apple is dropping sharply... Very disappointed with Apple...
