How to delete unwanted app from App Store > Purchased ?
Hi,
I have and app (MenuPop) in the "Purchased" list that I don't want anymore and I can't delete.
The app appears in that list despite I haven't installed. Nor I have been charged for it since it was included accidentally by me there.
How can I delete it from that list?
Thank you for your help,

Once you have downloaded an app, it will remain in the Purchases list. If you launch iTunes then click Store from the menu bar then click View My Account. The app should show under Purchase History there also.
Thank you Carolyn, FishComputer.
Currently imposible?
Even when I haven't been charged for it?
It doesn't appear in my "Purchase History > Previous Purchases"
Carolyn: I can delete it from the app folder to trash because it's not there. It hasn't been installed, nor paid. It only shows in the App Store app as pending to install.

As I have stated since the beginning, *I HAVEN'T INSTALLED THE APPLICATION YET* (and I don't want to).
Please use the screenshot I have posted then and now to make things even more clear.

My question is still the same.
+How can I delete that app from the list?+
I'm having the same problem, but it turns out that if you click on something in the App Store, the install button for instance, that is turns up in your purchased list, if it was a free app, a paid app, it doesn't matter. Once you've clicked it, it will be in there, and even if it's not installed it will just sit there. Since you "purchased" it once, which means you downloaded it by clicking on it and you can always download it from there again. You can't remove it from the list, how crappy the app may be. I'm having the same problem. I tihnk Apple should add an option to remove App's that you "bought" for free and don't longer want from that list. It's a complete history of everything you ever downloaded or bought from the App store and some App's are just to try and I'd rather not have any reference to them in there any more, but supposedly there's no way to do that 😟
im having the same problem, ive got a lot of apps downloaded in that list on the iphone that are purely downloaded to earn in game credits in other games i want some kind of swipe right across screen to delete options for these apps
Also I'd rather not have any reference to them in there any more
it seems a bit poorly thought out there must be some way to amend this
can i just be sure i am understanding this, there is no way to delete/remove any apps from this device, doesn't it eventually fill up or use all the space? i would like to take some apps off that i downloaded but soon realized i didn't want, primarily games that sound a lot more interesting in the descriptions, i can't ever do that? As someone said, that doesn't sound well thought out....😕
Sure, you can delete Apps, but they will remain in your "purchased" list so that you can always install them again, if you'ld like that. It just keeps a record of anything ever downloaded from the App store.
Since the Mac OS X 10.7.2 update it is possible to delete apps from the AppStore purchased list, thank god. What you can do is delete the app from your Mac and install it again. Or is it a paid app? It would be strange to pay twice for the same app, now wouldn't it?
I would use words stronger than "strange". I thought about trying to "re-purchase" hoping that the App Store would recognize that I had already purchased it(Photoshop Elements 10) and put it back onto my "Purchased" list, but if I am wrong then I get charged againand that would not be a good thing!
If that happens, you should contact Apple, they'll then refund it for you. You should also let them know about this "problem" while you're at it. But it could be that everything is just fine and you won't be charged twice 🙂 Do you also have some proof of purchase? That would be good to have... so you can prove you bought it twice, if the need arrives.
Use the Account Quick Link on the right side of the MAS to view your account. You can unhide apps that you have removed from the Purchased list by scrolling down to the iTunes in the Cloud section of your account.
