If you are still wondering how to add custom themes to Keynote you can read this guide for adding them to the most recent version of Keynote for iOS. http://help.apple.com/keynote/ipad/2.2/#/tanb343cb739
Now you can just email a copy of the theme file (.kth) to the mail app and open it into keynote from there. Once you do it will add a My Themes section to Keynote in iOS.
This is a three year old thread (and the second one you have posted this to). Really isn't terribly helpful to dredge up old threads. When and if someone posts a new inquiry about this, you can offer your suggestions.
Hey James,
I am sorry if my post caused any issue. I was trying to figure out the answer to this question through Google and I saw the two open threads with no resolution as my two first results. After doing some digging around I found the anwswer and decided to post it in case someone else like me would fine the answer. Although I've had an account for a while this the first time I have posted in the forums and I apologize if my post violated any of the community etiquette rules. I would check the etiquette page but the link wasn't working when I tried a moment ago, but I'll be sure to give it a read through the next time I think to post.
Not that big a deal. Not sure this was actually an option at the time the thread was started. But, sooner or later someone may post concerning this. When they do, you have your answer ready.😀
