make iCal the desktop?

I'd like to be able to make the monthly view of iCal be my desktop. I think the only way I could do this currently would be to take a screenshot of it and then use System Preferences>Desktop & Screen Saver and add the image there.

Ideally, it would be nice to have the desktop calendar automatically change the month, automatically change any events that are changed in iCal. There's no way to do that currently, is there?

The closest I have been able to come to having iCal as my "desktop wallpaper" was to have iCal displayed on a second monitor. I have a 7" [Mimo USB monitor|http://www.mimomonitors.com> with iCal displayed full screen on it all the time It's not really a "wallpaper", but it's also not blocked by any application.

The biggest negative is if you use Spaces. iCal is just an app on one of the virtual desktops in Spaces. So when you switch spaces, iCal moves just like any other app. I haven't found any way to keep iCal pinned to every space.
