How do I open the message through mail? Their message states that I need to send the profile attached to themessage to an email account...
Would it be possible for someone to e-mail me the profile instead on raymondk83@gmail.com?
Thanks.
Raymond
i think you are literally 2 steps behind me 🙂
Apple Developer Bug Reporting shouldve sent you an email with Bug ID#.
there should be an attached file "ExchangeDiagnosticsProfile.mobileconfig"
basically, open the the attachment THROUGH the ipad Mail app.
you can always forward it to an email associated to the ipad mail app.
that's what i did.
NOW.
i've been running this diag profile on the ipad, and and trying to get the log from the device...
i don't have
Windows 7 and Vista: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<device-name>\DiagnosticLogs\
anyone have any other idea?
They didn't send me anything by email 😟
Can I please ask you to send me the file on raymondk83@gmail.com?
Thanks.
Raymond
To Raymond an all others...
Go to radar.apple.com
Register as a developer (even if you aren't) - 1 min
File a bug report (be detailed, rant) - 2 min
Submit and wait - 1 day
Get a message with an attachment
Click on that attachment from a mail account that you have ON THE IPAD - this is key... iOS will recognize the file type and do it's stuff. - 1 min
Reboot (it'll ask you) - 2 min
You should be all set.
Good to see that I'm not alone :-)
Exactly the same described behaviour
Filed a Bug, wait and see
Windows 7 and Vista: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<device-name>\DiagnosticLogs\
anyone have this folder??
i don't see it on my folder! i can get to the C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<device-name>\
what log are they talking about? there's about 130 items in there.
You bet, am only at 33,562,624 though. Since everything's working correctly am figuring this is a calendar bug somewhere and just ignoring it ... but it is a nuisance.
Don't synchronize with a Windows machine ... only my MacBook Pro. Don't see any similar invitation errors on my iPhone 4 (running iOS 4.3) nor do I see anything amiss on the MacBook Pro's Office Outlook app.
just registered on radar... anyone know what's the average wait time to obtain an email config file for my users?
I just submitted my bug report. I sync with Lotus Notes, so this doesn't appear limited to Exchange.
still haven't obtained an email from radar.apple.com
would anyone be willing to email the ExchangeDiagnosticProfile.mobileconfig file to me?
Hi,
I also have a user with this problem. He is on Exchange2010, Outlook 2010,iPad2, 4.3.3.
Has been getting Millions of Invites displayed.
I have tried removing and re-adding the email, Changing theprofile installed on the device (We use McAfee EEM console to control thedevices)
I tied as someone mentioned, removing everything in the SyncProblems folder in outlook. And that did reduce the number from over a billionto just over 500 million.
Also, someone mentioned that all the numbers can be dividedby 1024. The latest figure from this iPad was 536,873,088. This divided by 1024is 524290.125. Therefore 1024 does not go into all these random invite numbers.
I am guessing that as a few have said. iOS5 will fix thisone….
Good day,
Can someone kindly send me the recommended ExchangeDiagnosticProfile.mobileconfig file that solves the unusual high number of calendar invites message on iPad2? lion.rafale@gmail.com Thanks in advance! 🙂
Did you ever get a Lotus Notes fix for this issue.
I'm not aware of a fix for Lotus Notes. If you will put in a ticket with apple they will probably send you the profile you need.
