I upgraded my B&W G3 with 1Ghz Sonnet CPU... iDVD discs skip and freeze..

As stated in my title.... I upgraded. I would think that IDVD would work fine. Has any one tried this with any success... or lack of success..... I have 400+ in ram and 80GB left on my HD.

Will this upgrade not work for iDVD?

Is that a G4 upgrade to 1GHz or a G3 1 GHz?

iDVD will not (and never has, not even in early versions) run on G3 machines......

Thanks for the reply... it's ofcourse a G4 processor. Which is why I'm wondering if there is a sort of G3 residue somewhere that's preventing iDVD from doing it's stuff.

I installed everything correctly per Sonnets instructions.....

The only other tip off I have is that iMovie stutters a little during playback... can't even do FULL SCREEN.

ANd the computer is not indexing.
