Isync and Nokia 6350

Isync and Nokia 6350

I got a new Nokia 6350 today, and am trying to sync it using Isync. I checked out...

I installed this program, and Isync recognizes the phone. The bluetooth connection works -- I added a custom ringer to the phone. I haven't added any apps or anything, but when I try to sync, after about 30 seconds, I get the following message:

[Nokia 6350] Device is not available or synchronization was canceled. Close dialogs and applications on the phone and try again.
Device “Nokia 6350” synchronization failed.

Any ideas on what to do?

You need to contact the person who developed that iSync Plugin. Only they could give assistance with their own plugin. It may be buggy, in which case they'd need to provide the fix.

Did you have any luck? I was thinking of getting the Nokia 6350 with the hope that the plugin works.

I did get the 6350, and the plug in worked fine, I avoided syncing the calendar, just did contacts.

Coincidentally just a few weeks ago, I started getting an error, gets to about 36% and then stops and says there is an error.

I have not attempted to reset the phone and start empty, but might give that a shot.

Just thought I'd try syncing again, and tonight I was able to complete the sync. Not sure what changed, suspect was my phone, I had added some contacts on the phone manually since the times that the sync was not working, not sure if it was getting hung up on certain contacts.
