How to see lyrics for song playing?

Same issue here!

No lyrics on my iPad 2 since upgrade to ios 5.

This is a huge bug!!!

I'm not finding this in the Settings app.

Hello all. Same problem. I have an iPad 2 and just upgraded to iOS 5. No lyrics. But here is something interesting. Go into one of your songs on your Mac and make a change to the lyrics. When you go to synch (I am using the traditional USB way), you will notice that the song is updating to your iOS device. But still no lyrics.

Also noticed that the lyrics DO show up on my iPhone 3GS, which has been upgraded to iOS 5.

I'm also having the same problem with showing lyrics on on my ipad. (no problem on my ipod). Any fixes here..or can someone tell me how to take IOS 5 off my ipad? I was happy with the old settings. Thanks!

You want to go back to an older i operating system just because of lyrics not showing? Do you have other reasons for not wanting to stay on iOS 5? I don't think the lyrics missing was by design. Of course, that is just speculation. However, I would imagine that this can easily be corrected on their next iOS 5 update.

Yes. How can I get back to the previous iOS. Was pretty satisfy with that and none of the new iOS 5 features worth losing the lyrics. Anyone can tell me how to go back to iOS 4.3.3???

Dear Apple,

I just updated my ipad2 to OS 5.0(9A334) and my lyrics does not show up when I play my music even if you tap the album cover. previously my ipad firmware is 4.3 and it views my lyrics perfectly.

Please fix this error.

Lyrics not showing are just one of many many bugs in the new music player on iPad. I'd say the app is unusable for many users depending on what you're doing with it, I'd say it's reason enough to stick with iOS 4 until it's fixed.

Hello Mike. I did send Apple feedback on the lyrics. I am curious on the other bugs though for Music app on iPad. I have only noticed the lyrics problem. Did Apple post knowledge of these bugs or is this from others mentioning on the forums?

I haven't seen any response from Apple (there rarely is other than actually releasing software updates).

I suppose it depends on what we call bugs. I will entertain a motion that the new Music App can be considered a bug when we used to have an app that looked and worked much like iTunes does.
