Verizon iPhone unable to make or receive calls

Hello everyone, my Verizon iPhone is intermittently unable to make or receive calls (yes I do have reception). Has anyone experienced this before? I've called Verizon customer service and they were no help and suggested replacing the device at the apple store which I did. Verizon tech support ended up saying they would look into my issue with the network team, and contact me, which they never did. Apple sort of suggested it's a Verizon issue, and was not going to replace it for that reason, until I told them my battery was dieing quick too (luckily I had a screenshot of usage). So they're kinda blaming eachother- and I'm stuck in the middle with no support/help. I've tried ALL of the troubleshooting procedures. Do you think it's a Verizon or iPhone problem? What should I do?

One reason I think it's a Verizon issue is, I've had 2 iPhones that had the same problem- what are the chances of that? One reason I believe it's a Apple iPhone issue is because ALL of the Verizon phones in my household work perfectly all the time, except mine. Again it's intermittent, which is why I recorded videos.

Mine, I can't make or receive calls at or around home. I have to be somewhere, where I have 4-5 bars of reception for it to work 100%. I've never had this issue with Verizon in 7+ years, and also all the Verizon phones work fine in or around the house (5 Verizon phones in the house). Just mine doesn't, which I find very odd. That is why I thought it was an iPhone issue earlier.

I have the same issue and I agree! I am almost certain it's a Verizon issue, I traveled from GA ( home) to (VA) for work then all of a sudden I noticed I have data no problem but I can't send or receive text or phone calls. Verizon is giving me the runaround!! Other i-phone4's up here on Verizon are ok but mine running the 10.1 carrier is screwed, but others with a 9.5 old carrier firmware have no issues! Any thoughts or solutions?! I have had to do resets out the wazoo like Verizon techs told me to but still no solutions!

Was wondering if anyone has found an answer. I have the exact problem....in fact I could have written the original post! The only thing that I have in common with my two phones (original and replaced one) besides the carrier Verizon is the phone number. I have no idea why it should matter, but has any one considered or actually changed their number? I am thinking of it, but being a real pain in the rear have been putting it off.


Any ideas on this!
