How to create photo albums?

In the photo app, there is a selection called albums (plural).. yet, I can only see one album, and can't figure out how to create other albums and move my photos into other albums. (same seems to be true for the iPad).

How do I create and use multiple albums?

iMac 24, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

It's real simple, push the "photos" button, with the album closed (all photos stacked on top of each other in top left) look at the very top of the screen, it will say "photos" "albums" "places", tap the "albums" button and to the right you will see "edit" push that, then on the opposite side "New Album" button will appear, tap that, it will prompt for new album name and then ask you which photos you would like to move! Why is everyone making this so difficult, it that's simple. You don't need to connect to iTunes, open new folders, blah blah blah...also you can make your iPad a digital picture frame when you aren't using it...with the iPad off, push the square button and the slide will appear, next to that is a picture frame, push that and your iPad becomes a digital picture frame...pick the album you want displayed in "setting", "picture frame", select album, it even has a cool "origami" option
