is the ipad 2 screen scratch proof?

Have to admit, the screen on ma iPad 2 has went through murder so far. The charger witch u are applied with fell on the screen and my stylist as well. So far no scratches (SHOCKED) as many of the iPad or iPod screens by now would of been. Except from the back where I have to tiny scratches where I don't have a clue came from...not sure abit protectors as many cause bubbles nowadays..jt can't be bothered anymore with them.
