Macbook Pro 2011 13-inch not loading Windows SO (never SOs...) ¿Why?

Hi guys!

I have a great problem with my MBP 2011 and Boot Camp utilities... I need Windows to my job and the other tings. I tried install some Windows I have... Winws 7 x86 and x64, Windows XP... but it´s impossible mission

My Macbook Pro is modified:

- Core i5 2,3Ghz
- 8Gb OWC DDR3-1333Mhz
- 128 Gb OWC SSD (replacing superdrive)
- 320 Gb HDD (factory)

I have done the following things:

- Install Windows 7 with USB Key ---> nothing
- Install Windows 7 with external USB DVD Drive --> nothing
- Install Windows 7 used boot camp wizard of OSX Lion --> nothing

the problem is the same... When run and finish boot camp wizard reboot normally but the display goes black and installation dont continue... only blinking cursor "_"...

I dont find any solutions... I´m desperate puff

Ahh... I have installs rEFIt boot, but I dont think that influences, righ?

¿is it normally?... I don´t think...

Thx

PD: Sorry I´m from Spain and my inglish is a litte bad 🙂 I hope you undertand my problem 😟

Yes, Only way to know is to try. I bought the adapter I mentioned, is reasonably priced and can be useful for other things

Unlike an external USB drive, this is an adapter, so the Macbook Pro has to detect it as "Apple product"

the order takes 24 hours to reach my house, tomorrow will tell if it worked

I've also had some problems with internal screws ... in my opinion are quite fragile. with the screwdriver he "broke" a screw... It´s a menor problem...

you're right, Apple is very quiet with external hardware. with "certain" non-Apple hardware, you can only do certain things

"when and how Apple wants" 🙂
