Remove or at least turn off Game Center

I can't stand it that I HAVE to have Game Center. It's absolutely frustrating that I cannot completely disable it. I do not care what my score is compared to anyone, and if don't log in, I end up having to wait for it to load just so I can click cancel. Absolutely ridiculous. Poor setup, poor customer service with this issue. Allow full user controls on this. Why force a user to have to use an app? Not acceptable.

No, the solution does not work - iPad and iPhone - both running iOS6.x

What worked for me on the iPhone is to clear the email address in the gamecenter box, and put in a made up ID. Then click submit, then cancel. Disappeared for now. The 'three times' thing does not work. When using SongPop - gamecenter pops up every single time. So, adding the made up ID worked for me.

Better remove this in iOS7, Apple.

To everyone who says, "Just sign in once and forget about it": As it runs, it attemptps to award me for achievements I don't give a **** about which causes my game to lag ridiculously. Even worse, it doesn't remember half of the achievements so I earn them over and over again. When I disable it from auto logging in, after about 4 times loading a game it forgets it was disabled and auto logs in anyway.

There is no way to uninstall it, there is no way to turn it off. In apple's world, gamecenter participation is mandatory, at least to the point of constant prompts to sign in.

The most users can do is tell Apple how they feel and see if they'll ever restore the ability to turn it off (pre iOS6 we used to be able to turn it off in the settings)

Hello..

It's simple:

If you don't want Game Center it's simple to disable it: just go to Settings > Game Center > click on AppleID and sign out.

Next time a game will prompt you to sign in just click Cancel. You will be prompted about three times then it's done.

It will understand you don't want Game Center.

The downside is that if you want to use GameCenter again in another game you must manually go to same Settings > Game Center and sign in again.

Also GameCenter features will most likely be disabled, and maybe you'll want them(goto Settings > Game Center and sign in back).

I hope there is nothing wrong in what I said, it worked for me(ios 7.1).

First piece of useful advise I've seen for a while. Turn it off.

Recently, my person email was leaked through the game center and I recieved abusive messages from other Clash of Clans players. This was something I wasn't aware could happen but apparently its quite easy. Apple will not respond or take the issue seriously and Supercell say the route of the problem lies with the game center.
