Application Loader "General Error" (1018) on Upload?

I am trying to upload an iPad app on the Application loader (300 megs) and keep getting this error:

Apple’s web service operation was not successful
Unable to process upload done request at this time due to a general error (1018)
The upload process CANNOT be completed for the package 432031492.itmsp

Does anyone know what a "general error" 1018 is or how to address? An "upload done" request, is that an issue on Apple's side?

It looks like the issue is indeed due to not using the latest version of Application Loader.

What I did in order to get my submission working is delete the current set of developer tools ("sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools –mode=all"), then install Xcode 4 and the new 4.3 SDK, and restart the machine. Then I tried uploading using the new Application Loader 1.4 and it worked.

Keep in mind that the latest Xcode requires Mac OSX 10.6.6+.

Hope that helps,

I didn't have to change my application loader version. I m still using application loader version 3* . The itunues connect submit started working automatically when I tried this evening... Probably the error could have been caused by some problem with the apple's itunes connect submit web service and apple could have fixed it today.
