Help: Weather Widget Problem

Hi all,

My weather widget seems to be exactly one day out of date, it shows the weather the day before rather than than the current day. I've tried re-opening the weather widget but this was no help. I've even tried deleting the weather widget preferences (~/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.weather.plist), but that didn't work either. This is no big deal, but I was wondering if anyone can help in this situlation.

Thanks,

Adam

I get the weather widget giving me the wrong temperature compared to the accuweather.com website for the same location (Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada). The weather widget is out by about 6-7 degrees celsius. Still out if I use imperial units. If I use another nearby location within 20 miles or so, the weather widget displays the correct weather info.

Does anyone know how to set the weather widget to a non-USA city? I am in Italy but using the Mac OS in English rather than Italian. I think because the widget system is in English it assumes the USA. I have tried all I can think of but when I put Rome or Roma it lands me either in Georgia or Texas.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Just checked it again and it says the temperature is -6 Celsius when it fact it is +2 Celsius. When I go to the Vernon, British Columbia site, it says +2 Celsius. Using Weather Pulse for Windows XP, it also says +2 Celsius for current temperature.
I've also tried using the BBC accuweather widget. Still the same problem.

I'm wondering if accuweather has the wrong weather data linked to Kelowna, British Columbia.

I was having trouble with the temp being way off. I'm also outside of the USA (Amsterdam, Netherlands). The actual temperature (C) was approx. +7, the widget was showing -14!. Oddly, the F measurements weren't as far off 39(what it said) vs. 45(actual). It almost seems that it's the F/C conversion that was confused.
Removing the widget from Dashboard and reinstalling didn't help. What did help, however, was changing the city, then changing back. Maybe the sources changed confusing the widget? I don't know, but fortunately my most-used widget is working normally now.
Maybe that'll help you, Adam.
