How do i become a Mac Genius

I wanted to know how I can become a Mac Genius. I am 17 years old in my last year of high school. And this is something i am really interested in. If anyone knows what schooling and training I need please let me know.

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

Click here to find out about Apple training programs of various kinds. "Mac Genius" certification isn't mentioned (or at least I couldn't find it), but it seems like a good place to start.

I would go to a nearby Apple Store
and ask them about this . . .

What skills are they looking for,
what could you do to prepare yourself, etc.

Best thing to do is buy yourself a nice g-5 have alot of patience and go to some of the shows in las vegas like the NAB and look at what the mac can do and try some of the free classes, I have been working on one around 15hrs a day for the last two years and I am always learning something new about the MAC.
