HELP!!!! How the QuickTime can use RTSP to view a movie in a webpage?

I know the QuickTime can use a RTSP by using open URL to open a movie in the remote straming server like DARWIN. But my question is different:
I am using DARWIN as the remote streaming server, and has a web page with the movie icon on it. How I can use IE and clikck on the move icon then the movie can be streamed by the QT in the local PC with RTSP but not HTTP(I konw HTTP works)?

Do a search of these discussion pages for "poster movie" and you'll learn the method.
Your "poster" file loads via http. The "linked" file would load using rtsp.

I have a question about the message "applciation/x-mplayer2" I apparently need the plug in but when I download the file windows media.stix I don't know what program to open it with. Any ideas? Please and thank you!

You should have posted this as a new question as it has nothing to do with this thread.
Download and install Stuffit Expander (free version) from http://stuffit.com
It doesn't ship with Tiger and is required to open .sit and .sitx files.
