Apple 30inch Cinema specifications

Hi all,
I've managed to get my Apple 30inch Cinema display to work with a Matrox Parhelia 256PCI card on Windows @ the full resolution of 2560x1600 (& lovely it is too).

I'd also like to get this working with Linux, but I've only managed to get it going on 1280x800 @ 71MHz.
I need exact details on the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) that the monitor uses to progress this.

Would anyone from Apple (at least) be able to confirm the settings being picked up by X when it probes the monitor...?
i.e.
- size detected correctly: 64cmx40cm
- 1280x800 @ 71MHz settings are correct (I've used the values shown below to get this Modeline...
Modeline "1280x800" 71.00 1280 1328 1360 1440 800 803 809 823
...which works.
- 2560x1600 @ 268MHz settings detected below don't work...
Modeline "2560x1600" 268.00 2560 2608 2640 2720 1600 1603 1609 1646
...but confirmation they are correct would be great.

Here's the EDID extract from the X log...

Well, here is another EDID file dump if that helps corroborate your own findings:

Thanks for the detailed response. Good to see that the EDID stuff I'm getting is accurate, although the stuff you sent has a few nice extras.
I've seen other people get the screen working on Linux with these EDID settings,e.g..
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=40478
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=48563
...with a Quadro FX 3400 card.

However, I have a Matrox Parhelia PCI256 and I can't get it to work on any settings I seen posted (or output by xmode, etc).
I'll try & get some help from Matrox - I'll bet the driver doesn't work properly.
Thanks again.
