Installing Macromedia Flash player 8 Trouble

Correct me if I'm wrong but Ebay is now using flash player 8 to allow me to write HTML in my ebay ads to create a link. When I tried to download macromedias flash player 8 it loads super fast until there are 4 items left and it slows down and never completes the download. Question:
1.) Is there another way to write HTML on ebay without there recommended Flash 8 download?
2.) How do I get Flash 8 to complete the download?

No. My error since I just checked at the Netscape website and see that there is no such animal. However, Netscape isn't on my machine. Cheers.

What did you check for at Netscape that doesn't exist? That's odd that you have neither Netscape or IE on your machine and that is what helped fix mine.

http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/ shows Mac OS X Version—Not Yet Available and I have IE 5.2.3 installed, but hardly use it.

It probably was getting hung up looking for IE, as for Netscape I just downloaded 7.2. Right under the button that says Mac OS X Version—Not Yet Available you'll find the following.

For now, Mac users can...

• Download Netscape 7.2 for Mac OS X
• Read the Release Notes

Ah! That's what I get for not checking out the rest of the stuff on that page. So, I guess my ancient memory did recall there being an OS X Netscape version, just not version 8. Thanks.

I am having the same problem - hangs up on the last four items to install. I tried removing everything associated with flash player in the library folder, and restarting, but to no avail. It still stops at the four items.

Any other suggestions?
