Error in user name?

Can you report your own post and ask a host to check into it?

My username got changed, but that was something I had asked for (and it finally happened!!)

Well I just tried this:

Would a host kindly take a look at the username issue the OP is referring to? Thank you.

Used "report abuse" and chose "username issue". Got "there was an error" and the subject line reverted to the default. Tried it three times - gave up.

I have a problem like this. My first name (not nickname) is wrong and there's no way to change it. My Apple ID shows the right name. How can I change it? Thanks.

You can report your own posts. It doesn't seem logical, but the edit & report options for an original post in a topic are under Actions at the upper right. This applies whether you are the OP or not.

I also got an error trying to report the two requests in this thread. At first I thought it was because I didn't fill out any comments so I did & clicked send again. The second time I did fill in a comment & still got the error. Clicking send again let both reports go through.

Where is the report option? I don't see it in the upper right...

First name change on Apple ID seemingly isn't carried over to Discussions/Communities profile at the moment. I changed both first/last & only the last name showed here.

I have the same problem, my real first name has been changed, actually it swapped with my housemates who also has an apple id and is in Apple support communities.

My changes first appeared in apple developer 9 days ago, the info on both my apple id

and itunes is correct, it was correct here until this change over.

it possible you may have to be a level 3 to report trilobyte, I can see it I'm not sure how it works these days.

I agree, but again I'm not really sure of the workings in this new community, I do see I can report my own

post by the email notifications and bookmark this.

Mine too remains unresloved if I find anything out I'll keep you posted.
