It looks like something got messed up in the site conversion. My user name (which appears to be unchangeable) on the new Community Forums does not match the name on my Apple ID. Any ideas on how this can be fixed?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
Can you report your own post and ask a host to check into it?
My username got changed, but that was something I had asked for (and it finally happened!!)

We can't report our own posts.
Lucky you, some of us would like our real name changed to the right name and that has not happened.

since my trying to report didn't work, why don't you give Peggy's effort a couple of days to see if you get a response from a host. If not, I'd suggest starting a new topice with the subject line something like "Hosts: please correct user name" or something like that so it gets the hosts' attention.
I believe I found the right place to request assistance. Here is the page to contact Apple and send feedback regarding the site. Request with pertinent info sent, hopefully someone gets to it and is either able to remedy the situation themselves, or pass it along to someone who can.

Just wanted to touch base with the thread to follow up and let others know, contacting Apple using the feedback page worked. Submit a request and wait a few days, they'll get it sorted.

Post reporting is available to Level 2 and above.
But the form you linked to is for suggestions. They responded as if it was a help ticket? I'm so frustrated with this whole username permanence thing here. You wouldn't think that you'd be tattooed with a name for life by Apple's own support forum.
