Where is the authorise computer in Itunes Store menu?

I f you do not have itunes directly on you laptop or computer and you have downloaded it.

Put your mouse on the left corner, where you see a box half shaded, click and put your mouse on itunes store and drag your mouse down to Authorize Computer and click it and fill in. Hope this helps 🙂

Ok, if you have the new version of the Itunes (i'm pretty sure you do otherwise all the other suggestions would work). I had the same problem ( just figured it out like ten minutes ago). Here's what you need to do: Go into your Itunes. You'll notice in the top left hand corner there's a little battery thingy, click it. Then hover your mouse over 'Itunes Store'. Then some options should come up like Home and Sign Out but the second last one should say 'Authorise This Computer', click it. Then the thing should come up were you sign in and BOOM, your computer is authorise. Also you can only use one account for the limit 5 computers. Best of Luck!!!

Just wanted to add that, on a Windows computer, hitting the "Alt" key is sometimes the only way to pull up the top menu.

To authorize itunes using windows xp. i found it in itunes on the file,edit,view,controls,store,bar.below the play icon.

Go to controls click there and you'll find authorize this computer. Click on that and you can complete your authorization. Hope this helps. Reznek

The important clue I had to figure out was to hit alt to get the toolbar with "store"

Ya after half a day finally got authorized now it says Itunes store is temporarily unavailable Please try again later.

What a load of crap hardest of the hard to get things done with itunes and i cloud when setting up new phones and transfering Been telling me unavailable for 15 hrs

Thanks that really helped. And on a PC you need to enable Home Sharing. I have to say that is one of the worst interfaces I've ever seen. Why can't there be a button directly linking you to the authorize area?
