How do I insert a CD to the iPad 2?
I'm trying to put a cd into the iPad 2 to play a track but the slot underneath the screen won't allow me. What can I do?

Only 3G versions have a CD/DVD unit.... Do you have 3G?
how can u put a cd into your macbook air
Same way you do the iPad 2. Fold it up many times and slide into the tiny slot on the side. The 13" has a larger slot so you don't have to fold it as much. The 11" has smaller slots so you have folder it more.
The best way we have found is to place the CD on the multi-touch screen and wait for the data to be scanned by the iPad. Be sure the iPad is fully charged as you don't want to run out of power in the middle of a scan.
Is there a way to remove the original post? This is starting to become very unfunny and the original posters got his answer (As well as one too many comments questioning his intelligence).
This is epic!
Oh, it's epic alright . . . Epic nonsense! (LOL) One post from a misinformed user and the world piles on.
I'm running the developer version of the iBrain and have lots of crashes almost like a iBrick. Besides threwing it and myself against a wall. Any other suggestions. Might need to file a bug report before rebooting again.
(Oh my!)
ROFL to the original post and to the iBrain joke afterwards
You guys are horrible! Haha!
Just in case it hasn't been clarified... An actual computer (PC/Mac) is required to copy your music CD's to your computer... Then you connect your iPad to your computer with the included white USB cable and open up iTunes. Locate your music in the music library area within iTunes and drag the songs you desire onto your iPad when it shows up in the upper left area of the left column...
A regular PC/Mac computer will always be required to transfer your own CD music to your iPad if something happens to the iPad itself, like it's accidently reset or erased or it just flat out gets broken...
The iPad (and Macbook Air without an external USB CD drive, which is available separately) will never support CD's because CD's are on their way out of existance... Most all of your future music purchases should be done digitally over iTunes...
While we live in a post PC world, unfortunatly, this is the downside. Unless you purchased songs from iTunes, if you want your music from a CD, you still need to use iTunes to sync your music, or use Apple's upcoming iTunes match service and download the songs once you matched the songs via iTunes.
If you don't have a computer, and iPad is your first computer, it's highly recommended that you get an actual computer as well. (I recommend a Mac Mini, since it has the same power as iMac, yet so affordable and compact. Don't forget to buy external disc drive as well, since Mac Mini has no built in drive) It is important to know that iPad IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR COMPUTER.
Buy a Mac Mini.
what about going to the App Store and buy the Discman app ?? 😝

I was feeling miserable today until I read this......
Thanks for the laugh!!!
Pitty I can't play CDs right away.
I also bought my iPad to watch my VHS Video tapes. It's unclear however how I should wind them around the iPad. Where can I find instructions on that?
Thanks
