How do I insert a CD to the iPad 2?
I'm trying to put a cd into the iPad 2 to play a track but the slot underneath the screen won't allow me. What can I do?
iPad 2, iOS 4.3.1

I think you will find the instructions were lost in the 90's
You need to package the iPad 2 back up in the box, take it to the Apple store where you bought it and ask them for a refund...when they ask you why just tell them that you are too stupid to own an iPad 2.
This is just awesome, its should go to FailBlog
You can't insert CD's into the iPad 2, they are obselete. You need to use DVD's or BLU-RAY discs instead.
What's funnier to me is that more people don't realize how fake / staged this question was.
This 'gag' question's been going on and on and... for a looong time now (just search:insert a CD into iPad2, and you'll see.
Anyone who asks this (or about loading a disk, etc), is frakking with you.
LOL.. Win..
This is awesome. not only the question but the people who take it seriously.... and of course the good banter along the way....
Trollers be trollin' with the start of this thread. It did make me laugh though.
You probably have the installation CD stuck in the IPad2. Sometimes the Apple store forgets to remove it. If it does not seem to eject, take the IPad into two hands and shake vigorously over your head. That should loosen the CD in side and you are good to go. If it still does not eject, take the IPad to the Apple store and repeat the shaking procedure so they have proof to handle it under AppleCare.
There is no slot for CD's. You import CDs to your computer, then to your itunes & then access them from
your ipad 2. I am thinking this has to be a joke. They explained the ipad 2 in depth when I got mine & part of that was that NO MOVIES or CDs would play from it that I didn't copy to my itunes on my computer before loading them to ipad in my itunes...I think I am rambling now...because...this makes me chuckle.
What about the new Mac Mini? That should be perfect for him...
It just did.
Hello Michael K. W,
The slot underneath ur iPad-Screen is only able to read LaserDiscs!
All I have to say is that I hope this is a joke. It is it, well done. If not, please get help.
