Unfortunately, no one has answered your query correctly. This is the correct method for adding a CD into an iPad2:

1. Place the CD into a frying pan and place on an open flame.
2. Wait until the CD begins to sizzle. That is when the 'hot tracks' start to be digitally converted into iPad bits.
3. When the CD is a mercury-like substance, pour it onto the iPad2.
4. The iPad2's 'Pourous Interface' will ingest and metabolise the music in a manner of seconds.
5. Sit back and enjoy digital sound on your iPad.

Too funny. No disc drive in the iPad. That's one of the reasons it's so light! Load the disc on computer then transfer to iPad.

This is by far the funniest thread I've read in a while. But it's sad, too. It used to be that Apple users were a tight-knit community that would never openly castigate a new member.

Why don't you get back to the store where you bought those cd's and complain why it is not compatible with your ipad?

The iPad's screen is the CD reader, just lay the cd exactly on the middle of the screen and wait.
