Battery draining on iOS 4.3.2 on iphone 4

How I do uninstall iTunes on Mac?

Can I keep my iTunes folder with all my music and iOS Apps.

I just followed the instructions in the following Apple support doc:

After reinstalling iTunes all my apps and music were still there...

Stop when you reach this point if you wish to keep your files and playlist etc..

"Additionally, you may need to remove files and folders associated with iTunes. Use the following steps to remove these files and folders."

OK... After fully loading my batteries yesterday and a full day of usage I still have left 42% of my battery.

That really seems to be a lot better than before. So updating iTunes seems to work for me.

Now theres still an issue with droped calls in the German E-Plus network.

This may sound silly, but do you mean uninstall iTunes on the iPhone, or on my Mac? I have the same problem with my 3gs

I restored my phone two days ago and the problem doesnt seem to be as bad as it used to be. Now, i've lost only 6% battery in the whole afternoon.

again, sorry for the silly question, but won't restoring my phone wipe out all the progress i've made on game apps, or notes i've kept, etc?

I had the same concern,

Right click on your phone in iTunes and back it up. If you're not sure how to, there are some nice tutorials on the apple website, just google it. I didnt lose anything.

OK... yesterday I had very fast battery draining again. The batteries only lasted one day without much usage.

So reinstalling iTunes didn´t fix to problem for me. Or would I have to do a restore again (I restored my iPhone as new without baking up last weekend but that was with the old iTunes...)?

Since upgrading iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.2 the battery life is terrible, after minimal usage, I had to charge it at lunch time as the battery was at 30% and falling fast (from 100% at 8 that morning). I tried the iTunes (Mac) uninstall and re-install, marginally better but still ran flat by late afternoon - always goes a full day of heavy use with mutliple Exchange accounts and sometimes even 2 days.

I tried down grading the iOS down to 4.3.1 but with no luck.

Any ideas welcome... I am running out of patience and options???

Has I said in a previous post, I restored my phone and it did the trick. Make sure you back up your phone before, otherwise you might end up having to enter all those phone numbers again and play an awfull lot of angry birds :-)

I'll be honest and say I'm relieved to see this affecting the iPhone 4, too. I had a bad feeling it was only affecting 3gs and earlier phones in some sad attempt to make people upgrade. I'm pulling for a 4.3.3 update to solve the problem.
