It's not that it is not true, it is simply not the only/full reason Flash is not available.

The issue is with an Adobe product that does not actually exist.

Because the FEDS and several injunctions finally forced Apple to stop it's anti-competitive practices and allow cross compatible apps... the flash on the web issue is still under investigation as well.

What were/are these injunctions?

I ment to say the EU, I live in america and go to "FEDS" by accident my apologeez.

The EU investigated Apple because of them blocking cross compatible apps from being deployed in their store ie Flash apps. After being investigated Apple suddenly had a change of heart, and began allowing Flash apps into the appstore. The EU then dropped it's investigation.

Similar to how Adobe waisted their time building the Flash to iPhone packager.... only to have Apple ban it too.

It's called developer lockin.

They claim "this and that", or "preformance this and that" and it's all BS.

And now this same platform (Flash), with all it's "issues" and "problems" that Apple goes on and on about.... now allowed into the app store by the EU, creates numerous paid game apps that reach #1 on the Apple appstore... hmmmm....I thought no one would want apps made in Flash? Oh that's right, they don;t want them when there on the web and free says Apple.... but when uploaded the app store, where Apple get's 30%, the same app now suddenly reaches #1 in the app store and is fine to be ran on ios.
