Depends on who you are and how you use your iPad as to how big of an issue it was. Didn't move my blood pressure at all.
I just got my iPad2 today. Flash not being supported is a big issue whether or not Apple and the blinders on applephiles want to believe it. This issue along with the clugy keyboard may signify a return of this device.
Be sure you quickly buy one of the tablets that currently has a working version of Flash on it as this will be the last one. Keyboard on all other tablets will be the same as the iPad so can't help you there except for recommending a MacBook Air.
As I said how big an issue depends on the user. It obviously isn't a big thing to 30 million or so users. It is to you and that is all that counts. The Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab II are really nice.
"Big" is a very relative term 🙂 It is not a "big" issue for me either - at least not big enough to buy another device that has other more significant drawbacks...but, again, my only point was that, as long as a significant amount of content is being produced in flash only format...anyone who denies that it is a problem either has an apple blind spot or is basing their evaluation purely on their own situation...
To use another analogy... it is like selling a tv that only gets half the channels and saying "well, those other channel suck anyway and just don't get it".
Flash is not available on any mobile OSs anymore (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, etc). Read Adobe's announcement.

They finally realized that they can't keep a bad format alive when Apple is calling them out on it.
The past 3 years has seen a very rapid change in Flash on the web with almost 80% of polled major sites now either switched to html5 means of displaying video etc. or using both that and Flash. With the announcement by Adobe of abandoning Flash on mobile websites, and the continuing proliferation of iOS devices, this will only accelerate within the coming months.

Flash is still available on Android OS and Adobe has announced that they will be releasing one more version to support Ice Cream Sandwich. They have also said they will not be pulling the app from the markets.
But after that it is pretty much a death knell unless Adobe wants to constrain future updgrades to be Flash compatible.
Then again you can still get RealPlayer...
yea it really *****!! cant watch my live feeds anymore after i switched from android :(
"cant watch my live feeds anymore after i switched from android :"
Don't worry. They will switch them over to html5 soon.
Hi, basically i dont really understand why Apple cant make iPad support flashplayer, the software is available from adobes website for linux, windows AND mac, so its just stupid to not use it for a device mainly used for browsing the web. But thats just me..
But if you read that carefully not for iOS.
Now with what Adobe says it will never will be

Yes, i noticed:) i just think its stupid not to make it available for iOS as well! Seeing as its available for mac, it means apple isnt totally opposed to using the flash player on their systems.
And i clicked the link afterwards, - i hope they all move over to HTML5 fast ;)
No it is Adobe whom you really should blame not Apple. They are the ones who are not able to produce a version for iOS. So go hold Adobe's feet to the fire.
