That really ***** ! You think apple would take the message.
What message?
That Apple cannot keep iPhones/iPad in stock (sold out)?
That +100 million users can live wouthout Flash on their iOS device?
Sounds like they received the message loud and clear...
At least you get a choice! this option is available on android. You don't have to use flash but you can if you wanted to. Apple annoys me a lot when it comes to flash question. The answer is "no" end of story. And yes Android is an os and it does play flash quiet comfortably.

Then your option is clear, buy an Android tablet.
Then your path is clear. eBay the ipad and buy the Android tablet that does what you need. There is no point in owning something that annoys you. We don't mind. Honest.
Thank for the advice. I will get an android based tablet :-)
You're very welcome.
Like I said Chris in CA, it ***** !

I agree.
You'd think that Adobe is more than capable of making it work, but alas, it seems not to be.
I look at all the "iPads wannabes" and see that some are less expensive then the "iPad" and may not have all the bells and whistles and look as nice as a "iPad" but they have one thing that the "iPad" doesn't have and may well be , will never have "Flash". Don't get me wrong I like my "iPad" when im at home but when I am on the go I use my Samsung "Galaxy" it does allot on those long trips.
Galaxy is a phone. Galaxy Tab is the tablet form.
Flash = More data to be downloaded. More money spent on data bill. More money wasted on pretty visuals and advertisements that take up the screen.
My thoughts.
100% chance that it doesn't have Honeycomb and is stuck on Android 2.1 or 2.2.
Android has maybe 5% of tablet market share to around Apple's 94% share, with 1% hodgepodge share.
Android lost the tablet battle, maybe Ice Cream Sandwich will change that.
(probably not)
Is there any work around to login to the websites that use flash? Many finance/banks and some services sites use the flash and we can't use/login to those sites.
Most of us like iPad inspite of its drawbacks. Selling it or not buying it, is not the option or solution, as it has many other greater aspects that most of us like and we want to own it and do not want to go for another tablet for this single feature.

Among the regulars on the forum, I'm probably the strongest Flash advocate but I'm unaware of ANY bank or other financial organization that uses Flash for access. Can you provide specific examples so that we can investigate?
You should be worried if your bank's website uses flash.
From next time on, I will note the websites. There are many websites that are not allowing me to get in and not finding any alternative. One experience in the last few minutes is, I was trying to setup corp network access and email, on ipad and had to logon to our company's extranet site for setting it up. It required flash player and did not allow me to do that. Could not find an alternative to move ahead with it.
