Compukid...
Mind your own business.
'462116 people interested in the lack of flash, Apple should be ashamed'
Lets look at that number. Some are going to be those (me for one) who love to keeptrack of the demented cries of the Flash lovers who can not face up to commercial decisions and admire the destruction of logical argument it brings, some are those genuine seekers after truth who want to find out why they can not use it and can accept the reasoning, others are GSATs who cannot but know it is not worth banging on here about it, some - very few - have informed technical points to make, some are lost and clicking on anywhere, some are hoping that they can use this thread to find out about their favourite cartoon character. What should Apple be ashamed of amongst these posters?
Google 'Earth is flat' or 'Hitler is alive' and you will find far more hits, but not prove much to the sane 99% of mankind. If you have kept coming back here in support of Flash, of course, you could go on these websites, find yourself in very congenial company and be posting on those websites for as long as you like. You will be missed!

and yet, all you add is a pointless rebuke. Of course I know that. I've been here quite a while. The point is to keep the mood light while some people get overly worked up about something that neither we, nor Apple has control over...
Why the **** is this discussion still going on? download iSwifter and done. shouldn't be 95 pages of trolls
you'd think that... but no matter how many times we suggest an alternative browser or point to steve's thoughts on flash, people still come in here to whine... I may open a cheese store in here... I think it would do quite well...
I'm sorry to reply to ur post but I could not find just the post button
Anyhow I for one have an iPad and my wife has an andriod with honeycomb I have read the last 20 pages of this discussion and I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Everybody is blaming apple or adobe for flash well I got this iPad for college it/tech and now from experience I learned that regardless of who anybody blames there still ain't flash I have labs I have to do on the Internet and I have to use my wife's tablet because mine won't work I'm not saying one is better than the other but for me I'm waiting for my new android to get here for this reason but that's just me. By the way for all who says flash is on it's way out I can't agree they still teach flas at colleges around the USA . Just wanted to let u all know my opinion..
Adobe has ceased production for mobile flash on all devices
Will you major in English grammar?

Thank you for sharing. Do you have a question?
"Adobe has ceased production for mobile flash on all devices"
Which means nothing to Android users. We will be watching flash until HTML5 is finally ready for the net, probably in 5 years. Just keeping the discussion honest.
Don't let the playground bullies scare you. Students need flash so they should not buy the iPad. I just got through writing an article for a newspaper advising parents not to buy one for their student. Better off with a laptop or Android if they must have a tablet.
HTML is ready for the net. Will Flash still be around in 5 years? Sure. Just like you can still buy new release vinyl records.
Well you won't be receiving support from adobe on those devices. Anyway, it's up to each user to research what works for them. I know many students who use an iPad and don't have a problem, but there will be those that need flash. I wouldn't generalize though
No-one is forced to buy anything from anyone, and that has not changed for a long time (unless you sell food, clothing or funeral services, which are mandatory, one way or the other)
I'm so happy for you.
