You will need the travel adapter kit which contains adapter plugs for the different sockets throughout the world. Remove the US/North America fitting and replace it with the appropriate adapter for Europe.
but only the connector is diffrent the chargers work with both 230volt and 110volt
Not sure about the iPad but the Ipad2 has the proper ends that will work anywhere! They are both the same size and shape and will work in any country!
You don't need a converter, which actually changes the amount of voltage. The iPad's charger, like all Apple chargers, are rated for 100 - 240 volts. That covers for the United States (110V) and the European one (220V?). And pretty much the whole world. So don't worry about burning out your charger/iPad.
What you need is an adapter. That just changes the SHAPE of the connector that fits into your socket, because all these regions use different shaped outlets. Like someone said, you need that travel kit. That doesn't alter the amount of electricity, but just so the connector fits in the outlet. 😉
What about the lightening connector
Ipad with lightening connector..do I need more
Same thing I said up there earlier still applies. 🙂
It doesn't matter if you have a lightening connector or a 30 pin connector. The iPad power bricks are rated for world wide voltage. Like the others have said, all you need is a plug adapter to make the plugs fit. You can get these pretty much anywhere, best buy, walgreens, walmart, target.....look in the luggage section.
