ipad2 screen frozen won't turn off or move to another screen

The other button is the Home button - circular at the bottom centre of your iPad. Hold the two down together for 80 secs plus.

This worked and unfroze my ipad mini 3. The screen was frozen and kept stating that the iCloud backup has not been performed in 5 weeks and caused the screen to freeze. It wouldn't work. But this reset holding down the "home" button and the "power button" at the same time until the white apple logo appeared solved the problem. Thanks again
